Conditions de garantie

These conditions describe the voluntary manufacturer's guarantee that ooloo software UG (haftungsbeschränkt), the maker of the Office Walker, gives on the Office Walker walking pad. This guarantee is given in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and German law (Gewährleistung) and does not limit them. Where this guarantee and your statutory rights overlap, the more favorable applies.

1. What is covered

We guarantee that all parts of the Office Walker are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal home and office use for 5 (five) years from the date of delivery. If a covered part fails through no fault of the owner during this period, we send you a replacement part free of charge, including standard shipping.

Because the Office Walker contains no motor and no electronics, a replacement is designed to be fitted by the owner in about 10 minutes, using tools most people already have at home. We provide written and video instructions for every replaceable part. Spare parts are stocked until 2031.

2. What is not covered

• Damage caused by the owner or a third party, including dropping, forcing, overloading beyond the stated maximum user weight, or any use outside the product's intended purpose.
• Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, or failure to follow the care instructions.
• Normal cosmetic aging of natural wood (for example color change from sunlight), and ordinary wear of the walking surface beyond what is consistent with the stated use.

Where a case is not covered, we still supply replacement parts where available, charged at cost plus shipping.

3. How to make a claim

Email johannes@office-walker.com from the email address you ordered with, and include your order number or the serial number of your Office Walker, a short description of what has failed and, where it helps, a photo. Once we have confirmed the claim, we ship the replacement part to your delivery address. You fit the part using our instructions, so the Office Walker does not need to be sent back.

4. Serial number

Every Office Walker carries a unique serial number that identifies its batch and finish, so the right part can be found without guesswork. No registration is needed. The guarantee is linked to your order.

5. Duration and start date

The guarantee period of 5 years begins on the date of delivery and is not extended or restarted when a replacement part is supplied. A replacement part is covered for the remainder of the original period.

6. Relationship to statutory rights

Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits the mandatory statutory warranty rights (Gewährleistung) you have as a consumer, or any rights under applicable consumer protection law. This manufacturer's guarantee is a voluntary, additional promise.
