An electric pad is designed to be replaced when the motor gives out. This is designed to stay with you, like a piece of furniture. Most parts swap out in about 10 minutes with the tools you already have at home, and a slat cover takes about 5.
That is the whole warranty philosophy. Not a promise to fix a black box, but a machine simple enough that you rarely need me. If anything breaks, we ship you the part and you fit it yourself.
