When something wears out on the Office Walker, you order that part rather than a new pad. We ship it to you, you use the tools you already have at home, the deck opens with two bolts, and most swaps take about 10 minutes at the desk where it already sits.
Repairable is not a feature you add later.
A sealed walking pad cannot be repaired, only replaced, which is why it is designed to be thrown away. I designed the opposite on purpose.
Every wearing part can be replaced, every part is on the shelf, and the warranty covers five years of anything that is not your fault. The point is that it never becomes rubbish.

How long does a walking pad last?
We have tested for 3000 km so far with no wear, and every part is on the shelf anyway, so that is the honest answer for this one: as long as you keep replacing what wears, which is the slat covers, the bearings and the belt. There is no motor in it, so the part that usually ends an electric pad's life is not in there to fail.
That changes what wearing out means. On a sealed pad one failure ends the whole machine, because there is no way in and no part to buy. Here it ends one part, the part costs what a part costs, and within the 5 year warranty the replacement part is free when the failure is not your fault.

Plenty of products claim it. Far fewer will sell you the part, and fewer still price it so that repairing beats replacing. The claim is worth exactly what the parts shelf behind it is worth.
