Right of Withdrawal and Returns
This page covers two separate things:
- Your statutory right of withdrawal, which is 14 days and applies by law to consumers whose habitual residence is in the European Union or the European Economic Area.
- Our voluntary 30-day return policy (for orders placed through our website only; it does not apply to Kickstarter pledges, which are subject to Kickstarter's own rules and terms, which we cannot override), which is something we offer on top of the law and which does not limit your statutory rights in any way.
Part 1: Statutory right of withdrawal (14 days)
This right applies to consumers whose habitual residence is in the European Union or the European Economic Area.
Withdrawal policy
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, took possession of the goods.
Where you have ordered several goods in a single order that are delivered separately, the period runs from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, took possession of the last item.

by means of a clear declaration (for example a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Part 2: Our voluntary 30-day return policy
In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal above, we offer a voluntary return period of 30 days from delivery (for orders placed through our website only; it does not apply to Kickstarter pledges). This is a contractual promise from us. It does not replace, shorten or condition your statutory rights, and where the two overlap you may rely on whichever is more favourable to you.
Who it applies to. This voluntary return policy applies to orders placed through our website. It does not apply to pledges made on Kickstarter. Kickstarter pledges are subject to Kickstarter's own rules and terms, including the Kickstarter Terms of Use and the reward described on our Kickstarter campaign page, which we cannot override. Statutory rights that apply to you by law are not affected.

What a return costs
A 25 kg walker costs real money to move, and the costs of a return sit with the person returning it: the shipping that brought it to you, the shipping back to us, and any import duties, customs charges and taxes we paid on your behalf that cannot be recovered. Those amounts have already gone to our shipping partners and to the customs authorities, so we deduct them from your refund and send you the invoice or receipt for each one. If a customs authority refunds any duty to us, we pass it on to you.
You can arrange the return shipping yourself, or we can book a label for you and show you its cost before the return is booked.
Exception: where the return is because the goods are defective, damaged on arrival, or not what you ordered, we cover these costs in full.
Condition of returned goods
The Office Walker weighs 25 kg and is a piece of furniture. Please return it in its original packaging where possible, and pack it securely in any case.
There is no restocking fee.
You may unpack the Office Walker and try it out. That is what the return period is for. You are only liable for a reduction in value if you have handled it in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, and that handling has reduced its value. If that applies, we will deduct the corresponding amount from your refund and explain in writing how the amount was calculated.
Refunds
Once the returned Office Walker reaches us and has been inspected, we will refund you within 14 days, to the payment method you originally used.
