Does a walking pad use a lot of electricity?
Less than the label says, more than most people expect. Most motorized walking pads are sold with a 2 to 2.5 horsepower motor, roughly 1,500 to 1,900 watts. That is the peak rating. At walking pace they draw less, a few hundred watts depending on speed, your weight and the motor.

How much electricity does a manual walking pad use?
